As described in “Wiki, wiki, wiki” the flunktional wiki is a complete joke. As bad as it was yesterday, it is 100 times worse today. If you recall, a lot of the wiki pages were just links to already existing documents. Believe it or not, some of these links actually came in handy once in a blue moon because as randomly as the wiki is organized the servers are even worse. Up until yesterday it was easier to find the link to the document on the wiki as opposed to finding the document directly on the server.
In typical Shitshow style things got worse. IT had the great idea of moving all the data to new servers thus changing the directory path of where the documents are stored. Guess what this means. That’s right, all of the links in the wiki to the documents on the servers are now broken!
All those new hire hours wasted posting things on the wiki just got erased. It’s going to take 100’s of new hire hours to fix all these links.
Because the Shitshow wiki became even more of a joke, I throw rocks.
